    Airport transfers

From Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble you can take the train into Bourg St. Maurice. From there you can take a local bus to St Foy village and then a ski shuttle bus up to the resort. Alternatively you could take a 20 minute taxi ride.

Buses direct from the airport are also another alternative which is often cheaper. Please refer to the following websites for further info on buses:

    Car hire

Car hire is often the best option from any airport (unless under the age of 25 where they sting you on price). It is especially good option if you have 3 or 4 people to share the costs. Snow chains can be bought cheaply in Bourg St Maurice if you need them. Search the internet for bargain car hire companies.

If you have travelled by train, a car can be hired in Bourg St Maurice. There are two car hire companies – Europcar and Autocars Martin. Europcar allows a late night ‘key drop’ which can be useful if you are returning on the night train. Their office is 400 yds from the station. Autocars Martin are based at the station but seemed to operate only during office hours, certainly during the week and in the summer.
